Sunset Scavenger is an on-going film and photography project exploring images and themes of social and environmental collapse in the last days of the petroleum era. THURSDAY 7/2/07 BUS TRIP!!!!!!!!

Sleepytime Gorilla Museum is playing in Petaluma Thursday August second. It’s the only bay area show in near future.
Chicken John has agreed to bust out the bus to take us to the show. He can’t let a little thing like a Mayorial campaign get in the way of the important things namely bus trips for the people.

we’ll all pitch in for gas $10 to $20. consider it a super cheap extra fun cab ride.

meet at Chez Poulet 3359 Cesar Chavez at 6:00 we’ll be driven to Petaluma see the show and then returned. He might even be nice enough to bring east bay people back to the east bay if we all want bart in.

Marin feel good flowing robe white shoes drive a hybrid talk down to the gardner kinda Buddhist crap this is the class for you. There is no hugging, no one to celebritize and everyone’s a loser just like you. I like it.
Feels like home. Parking suck ASS, leave time to walk 5 blocks. Afterwards they go out for food and complain.

Zero Boy, Dr. Hal, Chicken John and Krob at the Chez Poulet Gallery

Hailing from NYC, Zero Boy explodes live on the Chez Poulet stage. His is a vocal acrobat. A comedian. An impersonator. A genuine, hard to describe original artist. He’s awesome. Everyone’s favorite. He performs a full set of political satire, comedy and a special round of “Stump Zero Boy” audience participation. Also performing Dr. Hal narrating a movie, Chicken John making campaign promises and Krob doing his patented mulit-thingy including but not limited to audio, video, gorilla suits, static electricty, neon signs, broken cassettes, pajamas, half a burrito, the soundtrack from Blade Runner, samples of a raido annoncer from a broadcast of high stakes bowling on the radio, clicking noises and the sounds of free speech.

Chicken vs Wolf
Mayoral debate at the Chez Poulet

With little more than a week before the filing deadline, mayoral candidates “Chicken John” Rinaldi and Josh Wolf have announced a joint fundraiser to help raise the necessary money to secure their status on the ballot. The highly anticipated Chicken v. Wolf debate will square off two of the most talked about, most controversial mayoral candidates and be moderated by permit consultant Jeremy Paul. The debate will feature questions from the audience and streamed live over the internet for those unable to attend. Take part in what could be the most captivating debate this campaign season this Monday at 9PM at 3359 Cesar Chavez St. (near Mission). A $10 suggested donation will be taken at the door, but supporters are encouraged to donate up to $500 to either or both candidates at the event.

Josh Wolf is a journalist, an activist, a blogger, and would like to be the next mayor of San Francisco. He has been involved in local politics for some time and helped manage Julian Davis campaign for District 5 Supervisor, and he is best-known for spending 226 days in a Federal Detention Center for refusing to testify about a protest he filmed as a journalist. Josh plans to create a campaign based on participatory democracy and hopes to build it as a model for the future. His platform is focused on working with the progressive board of supervisors and the community at large to solve the problems plaguing our city. He’s committed to open government and has pledged to a wear a webcam during all city business in order to eliminate backroom deals and insure accountability.
